Admissions

JMA is open to students of all abilities from across the area covered by Reading Borough Council. Each year we are able to take 180 pupils into Year 7. When we receive more than 180 applications we give first priority to looked-after children (children in foster care or the care of the local authority). As sport is our primary specialism, we admit up to 10% of pupils based on their sporting aptitude.

Of course some students also join us after the start of Year 7, including during the academic year. We welcome applications at any time.
