A-level & BTEC Results 2017

We are extremely proud of the young people collecting results today, and of the teachers and support staff who have worked so hard to support them. Overall, we are celebrating a 96% pass rate in our Level 3 qualifications.

Students have achieved outstanding success in their vocational studies, particularly in Sport.  Overall, results in our BTEC National courses are significantly above the national average. Particular mention should be given Jordan Baker, Hannah Howe, Maria Garcia, Amber Roberts and Tamsin De Bunsen – these students achieved a triple Distinction* in the Extended Diploma in Sport.  This is particularly notable as some of these students have completed these qualifications alongside our Elite Sport provision and A Level qualifications.

We are also celebrating success in our A Level courses. In English Literature, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Business Studies, History and Spanish, results are above the national average for progress. We wish every success to all the young people who having achieved these outcomes, begin a new chapter at University or in employment.  Outstanding performers include Ryan Goosey (AABC) who is going on to study Mathematics at Liverpool University.
