Project-based teaching of the Arts is the way to go.

The students choose which part of the project they want to participate in and then spend the term completing it. In the past we have done a carnival, made a film and learnt about World Art. We also offer all the Arts at Key Stage 4 and 5 as well.

Every year the Arts Directorate produce a number of events from plays to concerts. At the end of March, just before the Easter break, we put on ARTS WEEK! During that week we take over the school and produce an Arts event every day, culminating in an awards ceremony where we celebrate the best students of the year.
