WIKID teaches students about science through a narrative.

So far they have studied to be forensic scientists in the unit Forensics, using chemistry and investigation skills to help solve crimes. They've also been nurses during the unit A&E, looking at medical problems such as heart conditions and infertility. Students can't wait to come to lessons and find out their stories progress.

• Cook – think Heston Blumenthal's molecular gastronomy and the science of cooking
• Extinction – think the Apprentice meets BBC Wildlife to explain the science behind extinction
• Alien – think SETI (Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) and the science of how it could be possible
