In Technology students combine practical and technological skills with creative thinking to design and make products and systems that meet human needs. They learn to use current technologies and consider the impact of future technological developments.

Our Year 7 students experience a range of module topics
• resistant materials, where they make a model plane;
• CAD/CAM where they design and make a key fob using a laser cutter;
• food where they look at a range of healthy foods (biscuits were for Christmas!);
• graphics where they design a drink package and systems where they make a steady hand game.

The Directorate has several thriving enrichment clubs which cover food, woodwork and electronics.
