Young Researchers go above and beyond

Whilst the rest of the students of JMA were enjoying the start of a well-earned half term break, 2 of our Young Researchers spent their Friday evening at the annual general meeting of Aspire2.

Aspire2 is an important charity for both the Academy and the community of Whitley. They fund our visits to Ufton Court and many other activities within the Whitley area. Our Young Researchers were invited to present their ideas to the charity and to explain how the game that they had developed (The Aspiration Game) can be used to help young people explore their future goals in life. Talia H and Jamie D gave a well presented account of what they have been doing and why the group were awarded a prestigious Research Impact Award. Both students created a very favourable impression for not only themselves but for the Academy as well.
