Christmas Carol Concert

This is now becoming a JMA tradition, the open air Christmas Carol Concert. An evening of traditional and classic Christmas songs. This year with a "twist". Opening the show was a medieval style Nativity pageant showing the different parts of the Christmas our own inimitable style. The play included a Jeremy Kyle show where God and Joseph fought it out for Mary, a wild life sheep programme presented by David Attenborough and a Musical theatre birth. The singing part had the usual songs from a traditional concert, but also included a German version of Silent Night sung by our Dusseldorf group and a Bulgarian Children Christmas song performed by the Performing Arts tutor group. Added to this was the staff choir, and a first time parents' choir. The audience were given soup and coffee to keep out the cold and songs and laughter to keep them warm.
