Why Choose JMA?
Students can choose to study the subjects that most interest them from a variety of courses. Current JMA students and those joining us from external schools are all carefully supported to make the right choices for them.
We offer a wide range of extra-curricular experiences including trips abroad and opportunities to take up leadership roles. In addition, our Sports Performance Programmes provide first-class support enabling talented youngsters to achieve their creative and sporting ambitions.
Through expert and personalised support and guidance, there are good rates of progression to University, further training, and the workplace. We are fortunate to have a dedicated careers advisor who is directly linked to Reading University. Students also benefit from our outstanding facilities.
Virtual Open Evening
On 18th November at 6pm, we're holding our Sixth Form Virtual Open Evening, hosted on Crowdcast. With the lockdown restricting in-person visits to our facilities, this is a great opportunity to learn more about what we have to offer in person. Register here now!
Online applications for 2021 entry are still open and available on the JMA website. The final deadline for applications is Friday 26th February. Interviews will take place from the week beginning January 11th 2021.
We are incredibly proud of the Sixth Form and the offer we have for the next academic year and encourage anyone who would like further information to contact Craig Hudson, Assistant Principal or Wendy Bell, Sixth Form Manager via the email addresses below.
