The evening of Thursday 8th November saw the first of a series of visits by mentors from PriceWaterhouseCoopers, the globally successful professional services organisation. PWC ranks as the second largest professional services firm in the world behind Deloitte. Professionals from PWC volunteered to mentor a cross section of JMA students in order to help them identify the goals they want in life and more importantly, how to achieve them.
The evening was devoted to sharing the overall goals of the programme and introducing mentors to the students they would be working with. The scheme offers a fantastic opportunity for students to develop a profile that will be useful for university, college, work or apprenticeship applications. Any student who is interested in this scheme should speak to Mr Allen in the first instance.
