How to Apply

Online applications for 2020 entry available on the JMA website.

Admissions meetings take place with one of the Sixth Form team - after receiving your application, you will be sent a letter confirming the time of your admissions meeting. After attending your admissions meeting, an offer letter will be sent to you confirming a conditional place.

Key Dates

  • Wednesday 2nd October 2019 – Open Evening
  • Thursday 3rd October 2019 – Online applications for 2020 entry available on JMA website
  • Week Beginning January 13th 2020 – Admission meetings
  • Friday 28th February 2020 – Final online applications deadline
  • Thursday 30th April 2020 – Deadline for accepting conditional offer
  • Wednesday 24th June 2020 – Sixth Form taster day
  • Thursday 19th August & Friday 20th August 2020 – GCSE collection and Enrolment
  • September 2020 – Year 12 Induction Day and lessons begin

Students can choose one of two possible post-16 pathways – Level 3 Pathway or Level 2 Bridging Pathway. Once you have chosen your pathway; please complete the relevant application form below.

External Applicants

All students who apply for JMA Sixth Form who do not currently attend JMA must complete and return the following reference request form.
